The curse of the vampire...

So I dreamed last night that I was pregnant and running away from a vampire with a yellow car! AAAhh!! Boy, it was scary. My car died at a gas station, so I left it there on foot and ran through a market trying to avoid him and get to my house in Tooele Utah. It was terrifying, but I made it. When I got there, my husband had to deliver the baby and there wasn't one, but two! He had to do a c-section, but forgot to "put me back together". I don't remember feeling any pain, but I just remember how relieved I was to be away from the vampire! So wierd!

You can probably guess that I've had my nose in the book "New Moon". I don't think I have been so involved in a book since I don't know when. I can hardly put it down, but at the same time I don't want to finish because then it means the end of Edward and Bella!! It's like loosing Edward again, but from my life. Mendy was telling me that she was bawling at the beginning of this book, but now I'm bawling at the end!
I remember doing this at the end of the Harry Potter books. I always have such a hard time finishing a good book because it feels like part of my life!! I don't even want to read the last Harry Potter book, because that means losing my friends forever!

Maybe today I will be able to read the last few chapters of my book and not feel like it's the end of the world. I'm just hoping I don't have nightmares about vampires every night. (:

Don't worry, Brenda! Unlike JK Rowling, Stephenie Meyer says that she won't stop writing about Edward and Bella because that would be like saying good-bye to them and she can't bear to do that. Thank goodness. We'll have lots more vampire/werewolf tales to play with our tired minds for years to come. Hip hip hooray!!

There is just something about Edward and Bella! I seriously wanted to keep reading them too... I understand your pain. Have you gone to Stephenie Meyers website and read the beginning of Midnight Sun?? Its Twilight from Edward's perspective and its fantastic!!

I had a few vampire dreams myself during these books. Usually, I want them to bite me though, and it's all very surreal. I'm glad you got away from the vampires before you were bleeding all over from a c-section!! Sheesh! Pregnant dreams . . .

Shay's B-day, Maple syrup, and Cryosurgery

This last week has been a little crazy for our family. Most of us have been sick (except Brian, Shay, and I) so it's been fun battling fevers and antibiotics, but also trying to do field trips, volunteering at school, doctors appointments, science projects, birthdays, basketball, ballet, iceskating etc. Whew!! I'm glad it's over. Although today is a catch up day on Tera and Shay's science projects, so I will let you know if we survive or not. Okay, a little recap on some of the things we did this last week. *I went on a really fun field trip with Ashtyn and her preschool. We went to Brookside Nature Center to see the Maple tree farm they have. I have to tell you, it was one of my favorite field trips I have ever been on. We got to see the sap from the Maple trees come out and into the buckets and we got to taste the real maple syrup. It was so yummy. It's going to be hard to go back to the fake stuff... We learned all about photosynthesis and it even stopped rainin...

Club Feet

Brynley was born with club feet. She had to have casts on both legs up to her thighs for eight weeks. She had new casts put on every week and a half to two weeks. During this time she had surgery on her tendons so they will grow longer. She finally graduated to braces that she had to wear night and day for six weeks. Now, she is out of her braces during the day and just wears them at night until she is four or five years. Phew! It's been a long process, but we are just grateful that this is the only problem she has had to deal with. So, here are some pictures of her casts and braces, thought you might enjoy! Baby Girl Number 4

Yes, this is our fourth girl! I know, the profile isn't great, but I guess that's just about what you can get when you're still in the womb (: . I had to ask again to make sure she was really a girl, and yes she definitely is. Wednesday was my second ultrasound. The doctor wanted to make sure that she wasn't too big, considering that each of my girls have been a pound bigger (Tera 7 pounds 2 ounces, Shay 8 pounds 3 ounces, and Ashtyn 9 pounds 2 ounces). I didn't know this but I guess Ashtyn got her shoulder stuck coming out. That can be quite dangerous and could cause brain damage. I was a little nervous to find out how much this one would weigh, because the bigger the baby, the more likely there would be another shoulder caught in the birth canal. Well, it turns out right now that she weighs (or so they say) about 7 pounds 13 ounces. Which isn't too small considering I have two more weeks to go, but isn't enough for a c-section.
