What time did you get up this morning?

*7:20 I usually wake up to my little Ashtyn coming in to tell me "It's morning time mommy!"

*hmmm.... I think it was Alvin and the Chipmunks.

*Dora. It gives me a few minutes to myself.

*Oatmeal (can you believe it? I used to detest the stuff!)

*I don't have one.

*cooked peas, but don't tell my kids!

*Brite music!! (I don't remember when the last time was that I put in a cd for me and not my kids!)

*Toyota Sienna, I sure love my minivan!

* I have always been a night person until I had babies. Now I am neither.

Any new and exciting news you'd like to share?

* I get to take a trip with Bri and Raegan to San Diego during spring break while my mother in law watches my other three girls!!! Yay! I can't wait!!!

* A mom.

* Wonderful! It's great times right after getting over the flu!!

* I'm not a huge candy person, but I will take whatever chocolate I can find!

it's fun to learn a little more about you, brenda. you know, i never ate at la beau's, even after watching hundreds of their commercials in logan! i'll have to try it next time i'm there.

Ah Brite music. The soundtrack of the nineties for me. I can remember getting in the car by myself and driving for 15 minutes before I'd realize I could turn off Raffi and put on the radio or something! Thanks for sharing all these fun facts. And please let me play with Raegan anytime!

I had to laugh when I read "Dora" as your favorite TV show, but then I read the reason why and I totally get it. Thanks to Dora, I get my shower every morning. Without her, what would I do?

Shay's B-day, Maple syrup, and Cryosurgery

This last week has been a little crazy for our family. Most of us have been sick (except Brian, Shay, and I) so it's been fun battling fevers and antibiotics, but also trying to do field trips, volunteering at school, doctors appointments, science projects, birthdays, basketball, ballet, iceskating etc. Whew!! I'm glad it's over. Although today is a catch up day on Tera and Shay's science projects, so I will let you know if we survive or not. Okay, a little recap on some of the things we did this last week. *I went on a really fun field trip with Ashtyn and her preschool. We went to Brookside Nature Center to see the Maple tree farm they have. I have to tell you, it was one of my favorite field trips I have ever been on. We got to see the sap from the Maple trees come out and into the buckets and we got to taste the real maple syrup. It was so yummy. It's going to be hard to go back to the fake stuff... We learned all about photosynthesis and it even stopped rainin...

Club Feet

Brynley was born with club feet. She had to have casts on both legs up to her thighs for eight weeks. She had new casts put on every week and a half to two weeks. During this time she had surgery on her tendons so they will grow longer. She finally graduated to braces that she had to wear night and day for six weeks. Now, she is out of her braces during the day and just wears them at night until she is four or five years. Phew! It's been a long process, but we are just grateful that this is the only problem she has had to deal with. So, here are some pictures of her casts and braces, thought you might enjoy! Baby Girl Number 4

Yes, this is our fourth girl! I know, the profile isn't great, but I guess that's just about what you can get when you're still in the womb (: . I had to ask again to make sure she was really a girl, and yes she definitely is. Wednesday was my second ultrasound. The doctor wanted to make sure that she wasn't too big, considering that each of my girls have been a pound bigger (Tera 7 pounds 2 ounces, Shay 8 pounds 3 ounces, and Ashtyn 9 pounds 2 ounces). I didn't know this but I guess Ashtyn got her shoulder stuck coming out. That can be quite dangerous and could cause brain damage. I was a little nervous to find out how much this one would weigh, because the bigger the baby, the more likely there would be another shoulder caught in the birth canal. Well, it turns out right now that she weighs (or so they say) about 7 pounds 13 ounces. Which isn't too small considering I have two more weeks to go, but isn't enough for a c-section.
